Data Deletion Instructions

1. Scope of Account Data

A data deletion request applies to personal information associated with your NakshaAI account, including:

• Account and profile details: Your registered email address, mobile phone number (if provided), and user profile information stored in our databases.
• Social login profile data: If you created or accessed your NakshaAI account using a third-party social login provider (such as Facebook Login or Google Sign-In), the basic profile details (such as your account email and name) communicated by that provider to identify your account. NakshaAI does not receive or store your social network passwords or private social account credentials.
• Floor plan requirements & drafts: Plot dimensions, architectural preferences, and floor plan drafts saved under your account profile.
• Support communications: Emails and inquiries sent directly to our support desk that are linked to your account identity.

2. Step-by-Step Deletion Request Instructions

To request deletion of your NakshaAI account and personal data, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email: Using an email client, send an email to our support desk at support@nakshaai.com.
2. Set the subject line: Use the exact subject line: Data Deletion Request.
3. Provide your account details: In the message body, state clearly that you wish to delete your NakshaAI account and provide:
   • The primary email address registered with your NakshaAI account.
   • The mobile number associated with your NakshaAI account, if provided.
   • If you signed up using a social provider (e.g., Facebook Login or Google Sign-In), the email address linked to that social account.
4. Account ownership verification: To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion of customer accounts, our support team may require identity or account ownership verification (such as confirming your request from the registered email address) before proceeding with deletion.

3. Instructions for Facebook (Meta) Login Users

If you used Facebook Login to connect to NakshaAI and want to remove the application or request data deletion via Facebook:

1. Log in to your Facebook profile and navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
2. In the left-hand navigation menu, select Apps and Websites.
3. Locate NakshaAI in the list of active apps and websites.
4. Click Remove to revoke NakshaAI's access.
5. You may also click View and edit (or View details) next to NakshaAI to view information or use Facebook's Send Request option to request that NakshaAI delete data received from Facebook.
6. To ensure complete deletion of your NakshaAI account and stored records from our systems, you may also email us directly at support@nakshaai.com following the steps in Section 2.

4. What Happens After Your Request

Once we receive and verify your data deletion request:

• Acknowledgment: Our support team will confirm receipt of your request.
• Verification: We verify account ownership to protect against unauthorized account deletion.
• Deletion Timeline: In accordance with Section 6 of our Privacy Policy, your personal data is deleted within 30 days of receiving and verifying your request, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Account Closure: Upon completion of the deletion process, your account is closed and you will no longer be able to log in or access previously saved plans in your account dashboard. Please download any floor plans or files you wish to keep prior to submitting your deletion request.

5. Data Retention Exceptions (Legal & Operational)

In accordance with Section 6 of our Privacy Policy, we do not delete data that we are legally or operationally required to retain under applicable Indian laws and regulatory standards:

• Order and accounting records: Order, invoice, payment, tax, and accounting records may be retained for the period required under applicable Indian tax, accounting, financial, and other legal obligations.
• Payment credentials: All payment transactions are processed securely by Razorpay (India). NakshaAI does not collect, store, or process credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking credentials. Razorpay processes payments in its PCI-DSS compliant environment.
• Legal and regulatory compliance: Where applicable, records necessary to comply with statutory legal obligations or defend against legal claims under Indian law will be retained as permitted or required by law.

6. Your Rights & Related Policies

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correction, and erasure (subject to legal retention obligations).
